Library Card Information
All Library Patrons must be a resident of Waller County or be property owners, or have a Texshare Card from another library. The exception is Teachers who meet application requirements.
Adult Applications: Patron must be 18 years old and up, have a proof of address such as a valid drivers license or mail, etc.
Junior Applications: Must be 6 years to 17 years old, with a parent approval and signature.
All Applications require proof of residence (such as an electric bill, water bill, etc. Patron name, home phone number, and business number if available.
Check Out
Adults may check out a total of 11 Items. Combinations include a maximum of 5 Books, 3 Audios, 3 Videos.
Children may check out a total of 5 Items. Books, and Tapes may be combined.
Books may be check out for 2 weeks.
Audios may be check out for 2 weeks.
Videos may be check out for 3 days.
New Items can be renewed for 1 week, unless they are on hold for another patron.
Late Fees
Books and Audios = 5 cents per day.
Videos = 50 cents per day.
Lost or Damaged
Lost or damaged items must be replaced at cost plus $5.00.
